How much fun can you fit into five days at Fallowfield Stables? Attend one of our summer day camps and you'll find out!
We are offering 1 week of summer camp for 2017: July 10-14. If we have more than 20 campers registered for this camp, we'll add a second camp the week of July 17-21. Camp runs from 9:00 AM-3:00PM (early drop-off/late pick-up available).
Our summer camps differ from nearly all other horse camps in that they are entirely about horses. No racquetball or canoe trips here! Campers are initially divided into groups of 4-5 based on their age and past experience. They stay with their group for the week, riding in morning lessons together before working on horse-related crafts (making model horse jumps, homemade horse treats or braiding horsehair key chains), learning about horse care, visiting with the vet and farrier and dozens of other fun activities. By the end of camp, riders are not only exhausted, but they come away with a greater appreciation and understanding for horses. The last day of camp includes a friendly horse show where camp groups compete against each other for a final prize and demonstrate the skills they've learned throughout the week. All camp riding lessons are taught by our head instructor, Olivia, and each group is staffed by multiple counselors to insure the safety of our campers. We provide snacks and drinks, but campers should bring a bag lunch from home.
Cost of summer camp is $350 per week. Sibling discounts are available.
